Volunteer program for working with deaf and disabled people in Nepal. At Helping Hands Foundation, we are committed to improving the lives of marginalized communities in Nepal, including those with disabilities. We offer a unique opportunity for volunteers to make a positive impact in the lives of these individuals, while also experiencing the rich culture and natural beauty of Nepal.
As a volunteer in our program, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals with varying degrees of hearing and physical disabilities. You may work in schools, hospitals, or rehabilitation centers, providing assistance with language and communication, daily living skills, and physical therapy. You may also work with local organizations to develop and implement programs that promote inclusivity and provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate fully in their communities.
In addition to your work, you will have the chance to explore the local area and experience the culture of Nepal. This may include visits to historical sites and temples, trekking in the Himalayas, and participating in cultural activities and festivals.
