Health Program/Health Camp

Despite the fact that there has been a rapid growth in the health-care system of Nepal in the past decade, in general the status is not satisfactory and in need of immediate attention. Some well known and good hospitals, clinics, nursing homes do exist but most of them are based in more urban areas whereas remote & village areas do not have adequate medical facilities. Nepal is basically made-up-off villages, so a considerable number of people in Nepal never have an appropriate health-care service and even if they do, have been receiving inferior treatment against illness. Additionally, people living in the rural areas are basically poor, so can’t afford the costly doctor fee. Furthermore, most of the doctors are stationed in city-areas like Kathmandu and works in hospitals or operate their personal clinics. Therefore, rural communities are deprived of the medical attention and other health-care benefits. However, some state-run health posts do operate in remote areas but they are poorly maintained and lack adequate resources as well as absences of a medical-doctor and are mostly understaffed. As a result, Nepal has the lowest life expectancy-rate

‘HHF’ plans to reach out to these needy & underprivileged people through our organized health-program/health-camps. For which more competent & skilled volunteers are required in order to accomplish this mission. If your area of expertise is in medicine and if you are professionally trained health-care, we urge you to come to Nepal and assist in such health projects. Hundreds & thousands of people can directly benefit from this and will get the much needed medical attention which has been missing from their lives from a long time. It’s an inspiring and self-satisfying job too. Your project is simply lending a hand in this rural health camp/post as a medical-volunteer.
