The views of the Daulaghiri, Macchapuchre and the entire Annapurna Range from the Poon Hill makes it a favorite short trek destination of the Annapurna region. The trek begins from Nayapul, a 20 minutes drive from Pokhara. A twenty minutes walk along the river takes you to the Birethanti from where the scenery begins becoming more rustic. From Birethanti, the trek goes uphill into the forested area. After climbing the steep hill of Hile, comes the village of Tikhe Dhunga. Thikhe Dhunga is the main junction point of the night-stay.

The trek goes very steep from Tikhedunga with numerous stone steps. The walk from the Ulleri village still goes upward, but not that steep until you reach to Ghorepani. The trail enters Ghorepani through a rhododendron forest. Resting at Ghorepani in the night, its good to hike to the Poon Hill to view the sunrise along the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Ranges. It takes a day’s walk from Ghorepani to Tadapani. You return to Pokhara via Landruk.

Day 07: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m)
Day 08: Ghandruk to Nayapul (1070m)
Day 09: Pokhara Sightseeing
Day10: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Day 11: Transfer to Airport for your onward destination.
