Everest Base Camp Charity Trek
 

After the Annapurna region, the Everest Region is the most popular trekking region of Nepal. The most important reason for the Everest region to be famous is certainly the world’s highest mountain, the Everest. However, therea are also many other 8,000ers along with hundreds of lesser snow peaks that make the region a favorite destination among the trekkers. The region is also famous for being the origin of the Sherpa people and villages, monasteries and chortens. Nepal Government has declared the region as a protected area of a national park, the Sagarmatha National Park. The Sagarmatha National Park has also been recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

The trek start from Lukla after 30 minutes flight from Kathmandu. From Lukla you trek to Phadking. It’s always preferable to acclimatize at least for two days if you’re planning to get to the Everest Base Camp. Generally, the first acclimatization point is at Namche Bazzar and the second is at Dingobche. Namche Bazar the largest town and central market of the region.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu
Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour
Day 03: Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Trek to Phadking (2700m)
Day 04: Phadking to Namche Bazaar (3420m)
Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche (3420)
Day 06: Namche to Tengboche (3850m)
Day 07: Tengboche to Pheriche (4240m) /Dingboche (4350m)
Day 08: Acclimatization day
Day 09: Pheriche/Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m)
Day 10: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5160m)
Day 11: Site trip to Kalapattar and Everest Base Camp
Day 12: Everest Base Camp to Pheriche
Day 13: Pheriche to Tengboche
Day 14: Tengboche to Namche
Day 15: Namche to Lukla
Day 16: Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 17: Leisure day in Kathmandu
Day 18: Transfer to Airport for your onward destination.

Airport departure tax to be paid in rupees on your departure 1760 rupees
entry visa fee US$ 30 (duration 60 days from date of issue) - you may easily obtain the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport - Kathmandu .
Rescue & travel insurance, trip cancellation costs, accident or health emergency, evacuation, loss, theft or damage to baggage and personal effects. We strongly advise you to take out personal travel insurance.
