  Testimonials

I had such a wonderful time in Nepal! The program was great! I really enjoyed myself during my volunteering in Nepal. My coordinator was brilliant; he was always there for me when I needed him, with lots of love and support! So I was very pleased, thank you so much for everything.

Cultural Exchange Program in Nepal

The Cultural Exchange Program (CEP) is an opportunity to both learn from different cultural practices. One of the greatest things you will realize after studying Nepali culture is that happiness depends more upon relationships and social bonding than the material aspects. When you would live with the rural people and see their hardships, you would suddenly feel grateful for all the comforts and facilities back homes.

This program lets you to experience the multicultural, multilingual and multi ethnic society of Nepal. Whatever the place you choose for the home stay, you will find that Nepalis show me their beautiful, complicated country and allow you the space to fall in love with it. Generally, you will find that most of the rural family has all their members within on home: the grandfather, the grandmother, the father, the mom and their many children.

Nepalis make a very communal society, the festivals and rituals are designed in such as way that there is an intimate social communication at every level of the society. Certainly, you will come across many practices that would seem not only odd but completely illogical to you. That’s where you need to check your temptations and watch your own cultural prejudices. Except for the cultural and religious aspects, you can always contribute positively by persuading people to practice a healthy and hygienic way of life.
