Annapurna Base Camp Charity Trek

Make your adventure holidays also a great medium for social cause. Trek for the children of Nepal and help raising funds for the God’s lesser children. The trek for the Annapurna Base Camp starts from the lake city of Pokhara, one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Each day the trek starts after the sunrise, at about 7.00 in the morning. The trail goes up then down a little bit, then again up and down while crossing the various ridges and rivers. In this way, the trail passes through different terrain, villages, forests, and fields. The major Himalayan peaks visible are the western portion of the great Annapurna Himal including the Fishtail or the Machhapuchhare. It gets more and more chilly as you go higher on the trail. The temperature at the base camp may be below the zero mark.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu
Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara (6 hours drive)
Day 04: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1540m)
Day 05: Tikhedhunga to Ghorapani (2870m)
Day 06: Ghorapani - Poonhill - Tadapani (2710m)
Day 07: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2210m)
Day 08: Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m)
Day 09: Bamboo to Himalayan Hotel (2840m)
Day 10: Himalayan Hotel to Machhapuchhare Base Camp (3700m)
Day 11: Machhapuchhare Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)
Day 12: Trek back to Himalayan Hotel
Day 13: Trek back to Chhomrong.
Day 14: Chhomrong to Ghandruk (1940m)
Day 15: Ghandruk to Nayapul (1070m)
Day 16: Drive back to Pokhara. (1 hour drive)
Day 17: Back to Kathmandu.
Day 18: Transfer to Airport for your own destination.

Funds raised through this trek would go to support the children we are taking care of. We make it certain that the health, nutrition and educational needs of the children are not compromised. We are a government registered social service organization with affiliation to many other social institutions.

Cost Includes:
All Transportation in Kathmandu by Private Car.
Transportation from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Pokhara to Kathmandu.
3 meals per day during the trek (breakfast, lunch & dinner) including the coffee and tea.
Accommodation in tea house or Lodges during the trek.
Accommodation including breakfast in Kathmandu.
Highly experienced Government licensed guide and necessary porters during the trek.

entry visa fee US$ 30 (duration 60 days from date of issue) - you may easily obtain the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport - Kathmandu .
Rescue & travel insurance, trip cancellation costs, accident or health emergency, evacuation, loss, theft or damage to baggage and personal effects. We strongly advise you to take out personal travel insurance.
